Fashion with a Heart: Boucheron Home-Magnetic Quatre

High end jewelry house, Boucheron, is celebrating the launch of the movie “HOME”, with an online auction benefiting the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance, which is an effort to promote and verify more responsible mining practices for gold and other metals.

This association’s goal is to promote responsible and ethical extraction of gold or other precious metals throughout the world.

Boucheron's parent company, PPR, is sponsoring this film. For those who don't know (how can you not!), PPR is the second largest fashion conglomerate in the world (right after LVMH). Its subsidiaries include: Gucci, Sergio Rossi, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Balenciaga, and Puma.

In order to celebrate the movie, Boucheron has created a golden cube/ Rubik's cube lookalike called Magnetic Quatre. The Magnetic Quatre is a unique combination of four golds- each symbolizing the earth's four elements: wood, air, water and earth and reminds us of their fragile balance.

Wouldn't you just love seeing this on your vanity everyday???

This will be auctioned off on eBay.fr, the day after the world premiere of the HOME movie, starting on June 6th and lasting until June 13th.
