The Fashion Show: Week 5 recap and Get the Look!

So this week, the "designers" had to create looks for the real women.

all together now: Ahhh!

The "designers" freaked the hell out because they just don't do clothes for real women. ummm... ok. The designers tackled everything from big hips, broad shoulders and big booties to no boobies. It was kind of sad watching this episode because these designers, if we're going to call them that, acted as if it were only models that would be buying the clothes they make. Thus making clothes for someone who wasn't 6 feet and 120lbs proved to be way too hard for them.

I mean I thought clothes was made for the modern woman. You know- your local bank teller, the lawyer, the lady down the street whose dog poops right in front of your building EVERY MORNING, no matter how many times you've threatened little Fido.

God forbid these ladies buy your clothes- let alone even LOOK at them. The nerve! And apparently Daniella appeared to be a sizist- one who hates on people of a different size. Never heard that before. Good one Issac!

But Reco, God bless him...I love him, and Daniella (whose head I was sure was going to blow off at the thought of making clothes for a woman who was "big all over") were the top two in the elimination challenge. Reco's design, a chic gray skirt suit with a beautifully ruffled red blouse was not strong enough to beat Daniella's bold black dress and navy blazer.

Daniella's classy look

The guest judge for the week, Rebecca Weinberg (styled the real women of Sex and the City), thought that Daniella's look really flattered her model's assets.

Having won the Harper's Bazaar mini challenge earlier on, Daniella also got to send one person to the bottom three. She chose Angel, a wise choice as Angel's outfit reeked something fugly. It was totally unflattering and I had no idea how/why she sent it down the runway. But in the end it was Keith's unflattering prom looking dress that got him sent home. Sad.

The models hair and makeup, though, looked fab. Hair was done by the awesomely talented Jeanie Syfu of TRESemmé

Get the look the slicked back style for Daniella’s classy design Jeanie created!!!

• Distribute TRESemmé Simply No Frizz Spray Gel on wet hair, and comb
through evenly.

• Blow dry hair back with a thermal round brush to create volume on top. I love the Tourmaline Ceramic Brush, it's a ceramic-coated brush so it captures heat from your hair dryer to reduce heat stress on your hair.

• Once dry, apply TRESemmé Anti-Frizz Secret Smoothing Crème on the
sides, and comb back to set in place.

• Finish with TRESemmé Frizz Shield Finishing Spray to prevent flyaways and
to hold the style.
