---Kickoff our Back to Basics series where we learn the "rules" of the makeup game. Do we use a sponge or a brush for foundation? How bright is to bright for blush if you have fair skin? Can dark skin women really wear nude lip colors without looking washed out?? We will find out!

For someone as computer retarded as me, the easier to navigate a blog the better. I'm impressed with the fresh, clean, organized appearance of the blog making navigation quick and easy, allowing us more time to read and enjoy the blog. For most make up junkies, while content is important, appearance is priceless. Adding a touch of sweet baby pink to the site adds that bit of femininity that makes us all feel pretty and special.With the layout of the blog much easier, I'll have more time to read more content from the site. Finally, I couldn't be happier that you have chosen to preview and review the 2010 spring make up collection of one of my favorite make up companies, YSL, as one of your first entries on your new and revised blog. The new colors of YSL are amazing to begin with but the new format allows for a presentation that portrays the new colors in the prettiest and most versatile way that I have ever seen. So you have 11 thumbs up from me. The only criticism I have is I believe the site is still having problems allowing people to ocmment because the code one must enter before the comment will post is still missing or only partially there and there is no submit button. This is the 5th comment and the last for this evening that I have done tonight only to lose it went I couldn't locate the submit botton. Please check that out. Once that's fixed, we're golden!!!!!Congrats and a Happy and a Healthy New Year to all.

@Dlori: I'm definitely working on fixing the comment situation- I have been messing with this feature for a while so it could have been you were trying to post a comment whilst I was playing around with it (sorry!) BUT I'm definitely going to remedy this situation ASAP
I really like the design, because it's pretty and easy to navigate. A lot of beauty blogs are too cluttered and can be hard to move around on. You know what I mean? Your blog vibe is very laid back and I don't get a headache from browsing it. Your blog feels more comfortable, more real, and I feel like I can trust your opinions. Your layout is totally cute and it's easy to find exactly what I'm looking for here! Happy new year! Oh, and I am a susbcriber via Yahoo reader.

The layout is good, but the header is very boring if you ask me. It should be more colorful, and the font should be of higher quality :-)
