Makeup Poll: Does Packaging Affect Purchasing??

I can't be the only one whose been suckered into buying something just because of the pretty packaging, am I?? Just last night, on my way home from work, I wandered into Victoria's Secret with a gift card that had a remaining balance of $9 and spent it all on the lipstick and mascara from the Heidi Klum for VS Makeup collection (see above). Granted they were part of the semi annual sale (have you checked that out?? because you MUST) but I was only attracted to the pretty purple packaging and the gold casing of the lipstick.
