fun fact: yesterday was a pretty warm Fall day in the city. Did that stop me from breaking out the faux fur vest? NO! Are you kidding? The minute I received this vest in the mail, I knew it was going to be in constant rotation. It’s pretty big compared to what I currently own so I decided to cinch the waist in a bit. I’m still trying to learn how to style it but I think I did good, no?

some things are meant to be purchased. at least that’s what I told myself when I found this sweater on sale at zara right before the holiday madness. perfectly oversized, great gold detailing and just enough spunk to spice up an outfit. I know I will be living in this little guy, especially since I’ve made a promise to not shop for the next -wait for it- two months. self imposed bans are never fun and it’s going to take the grace of god himself to get me through. get ready to see my outfits remixed

randomly browsing my photos and realized i never quite posted these. it was taken midsummer at an event hosted by lucky magazine. the weather was warm and beautiful. part of me misses the warm and slightly humid days of summer when wearing shorts was not optional, but mandatory. yet no matter how much i look back, i’m beyond thrilled to start wearing my fall clothes. there’s something about layering, neutrals and the booties to get a girl excited.
