I don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed by a collection by Anna Sui. She’s like the fashion worlds Rock Queen. Her resort collection is signature Sui.
Resort is the most wearable collection a designer produces. There are no frilly nonsenses- just clothes. Anna Sui is one of those designers that, if I had the money, I would definitely invest in.
When I first saw the pictures, though, I must say that it did remind me a little too much of her past collections. It’s like her Fall 2009 and Spring 2008 collections had a baby. The pieces are really meant for summer- floaty dresses, beautiful color palette, short skirt- really something I would wear.
