A few weeks ago, the internet seemed to be buzzing after M·A·C announced their newest collection honoring fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez collection and rightfully so as Antonio’s Girls (as they were called) – Marisa Berenson, Pat Cleveland and Jerry Hall – all reunited to commemorate the release of this collection and appeared front and center as a part of the visual campaign.

Antonio Lopez worked with some of the biggest fashion houses (Valentino, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace) during the 60s and 70s as well as the biggest fashion magazines (Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar). Though he died from complications due to AIDS, his mark was made in the fashion industry.

The collection features palettes for face, eyes, and lips as well as a makeup bag, tote bag, 129 brush, and mirror compact. Each palette has the face of one of his muses, which means they’re something that can be kept long after the makeup is gone.

crappy BlackBerry pic FTW!

This Saturday - ahem tomorrow - from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Express wants to set a new Guinness world record and they need your help kids. In order to have the largest number of people modeling on a catwalk, they’re setting up a runway in the heart of tourist city NYC - Times Square. Between 9am-6pm, YOU can waltz/catwalk/shimmy your way on a runway. The current record is held by Galeries Lafayette, a French department store, who had 521 participants.

Not only that, at 9pm Express is holding ANOTHER runway show (but this time with legit working models — no offense) to celebrate/preview their holiday collection. I’ll be in attendance, courtesy of Lucky mag, so follow me on the Twitterz for updates :)

Please don’t forget that you can still help the people of Haiti, donate to the Red Cross today. Thank you.Share/Bookmark

Saturday, December 25, 2010

model Alla Kostromichova

I’ve already discussed the beauty aspect of M·A·C’s Cham Pale collection and now I’m here to bring you their four piece skin collection - also being released as part of the full collection. In it is MAC’s famous Fix+ this time with lavender. I’ve never used it before (felt like it would be a waste of cash) however as a fan of lavender everything, I just may have to check this out.

Check below for full product details!

Every sensible person knows having a bottle of good Champagne on ice at all times is a must! So too this premium skincare collection, inspired by the sublime simplicity of the finest quality pale cuvée, the care and nurturing required to get it right, and the extraordinary satisfaction that comes with an appreciation of the ultimate luxury: Introducing new Complete Comfort Creme, an ultra-riche facial moisturizer that relieves visible redness immediately, for a gentle, soothing, calming, hydrating formula that makes life prettier, like only the best Champagne can do. The soothing properties of French lavender enhance well-being, body, mind and spirit. M·A·C Fix+ Lavender, Lip Conditioner SPF 15 + Lavender and Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15 + Lavender round out the collection.

Kiki Kang; Harper’s Bazaar Singapore December 2010

Sunday, December 19, 2010

Can we discuss the gorgeousness that is Kiki Kang in the December 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.

source

This Chinese stunner has been modeling for two years and is currently signed with Supreme. At the age of 21, she’s walked for Diesel, was the face of Topshop’s S/S 2010 campaign and has been in countless editorials.

Her ‘Midas Touch’ editorial for Harper’s Bazaar Singapore’s December issue is simply gorgeous. Between the clothing, epic winged eyeliner look and her face, this is giving me life in all sorts of ways.

NYFW S/S 2010: Erin Wasson X RVCA

Saturday, September 12, 2009

Last night, I got to attend the Erin Wasson x RVCA fashion show courtesy of TRESemmé. Here is the final walk down the runway. Models seen, Lily Donaldson, Chanel Iman, and Irina L (who was sporting bangs and a very flappy arms). I was fussing with my camera so the quality seems kind of shoddy. Oops.

The collection was very much true to Erin Wasson’s personal style. There’s downtown cool kid (hipster) but this collection was as if that girl was lost in the desert. Lightweight clothing and denim cutoffs, for sure.

Enjoy!
