NARS Pro Palettes

If you’re making a list and checking it twice, make sure this one is on that list!

NARS introduced its pro palette back in September and I had the opportunity to make my own. It was probably the most fun (and nerve wracking) time I had that day. There are SO many beautiful NARS shades to choose from and the ability to create your own palette online is addicting.

There are two sizes of the freestyle palettes (Small and Large) and with over 64 refill shades available, you have the opportunity to mix and match between eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers and pressed powders. This is essential for makeup artists and beauty lovers, like myself, who LOVE NARS but hated toting around all of the individual shades.

Now because I’m a badass I not only purchased a few new shades, I also made the bold decision to de-pot a few of my NARS blushes. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN/ IF YOU DO THIS! I selected shades (Seduction and Amour) in which I already had backups in the event I completely shattered my blushes. Amour got a little beat up but nothing I can’t handle.
A few of the shades I got are:

• Blushes (refills cost $21): Dolce Vita, Amour, Exhibit A, Outlaw, Taj Mahal, Seduction
• Eyeshadows (refills cost $18): Bali, New York, Night Porter, Outremer (bright blue on the bottom!), Sophia, Galapagos, Coconut Grove, Fathom, Nepal, Mekong
• Eyeshadow Duos (refills cost $25): All About Eve, Silk Road

The Large Palette costs $18.00 and the Small will cost you $14.00. If you’re a NARS fan, you can finally rejoice. Palettes are nothing new but I think the most exciting bit are the refill pans which cost slightly less than the brand’s compact items. Woohoo!

NARS Pro Palettes are available in NARS boutiques and online. They also have a selection of pre-made palettes in case you don’t want to build your own!
