I don’t know why I tried to build suspense in the video when the title gives it away 😒. I’m so happy to have bought this bag since I’ve had my eye on it for some time. I have the original (large) Emile tote and did a brief comparison in case you’re looking for a frame of reference.
The Alexander Wang Small Emile measures at 14.5″L x 11″H x 6″W with a 5″ handle drop and 17″ shoulder strap drop according to the Alexander Wang website. On Barneys they listed it as 11.0″ height x 9.5″ length x 6.0″ depth (approximately). The large Alexander Wang Emile that I have is 13″ H x 16″W x 6 1/2″ D. I bought this bag in 2011 (!!!) so the sizes could have been tweaked over the years.
If you’re thinking about buying a pricey handbag, definitely wait until a sale or friends and family like I did. I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a bag full price simply because I KNOW there will come a time when you can get some money off of it. I you prefer buying bags full price, more power to you.
