The Urban Decay Summer 2016 collection has hit stores and I am smitten. SMITTEN!! I received samples from the brand and after playing around for a bit I can tell you, you have to pick up a few things.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector $34
Available in six shades, the new Naked Skin One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector is an oil-free, hybrid complexion cream that promises to blur imperfections and even out skintone for a result that looks natural. It gives you sheer coverage and it’s a great lightweight tinted moisturizer that’s ideal for warm weather wear.

24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Heartless $20
The ever popular 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil gets a new shade addition with Heartless, a light frosted pink shade that can be used to highlight the inner corner for fairer skin.
Urban Decay Afterglow 8-Hour Powder Highlighter$26
THIS IS A MUST HAVE ITEM! The powders are so finely milled that they apply like straight up butter. Available in three shades, these can either be used as highlighters or blushes depending on your skin tone. Only two are pictured above but see swatches are below

- Aura (iridescent light pink)
- Sin (champagne)
- Fireball (peach with pink shift)
Urban Decay Beached Bronzer $28
Yes, the powder is super-soft. Yes, they are matte. Yes, they’re gorgeous. But “universally wearable?” Maybe if the universe didn’t have dark skin women 😒. As a woman with deep skin (I’m usually either a NW45 or NW50 in MAC for reference) this wasn’t truly a bronzer, rather a setting powder. They do run a bit warm so be warned if you have fair skin as it can seem a bit orange.
Urban Decay Walk of Shame 24/7 Waterline Eye Pencil $20
Another new shade being added to a permanent product! Walk of Shame is a nude hue that can be worn on the waterline to create a brighter more wide awake appearance.
